Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Text entered into a search tool is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and returns its own results. Lincoln County Court Docket does not keep a separate log of the names or case numbers entered into those tools.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When an email is sent to this resource, the message may be retained so a response can be made. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Routine server and browser activity can create technical information about a visit:
- The IP address assigned to the device
- Browser type and version
- Device and operating-system information
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring site, where available
- Time records for page requests
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files that may be stored on a device to help measure traffic and page use. Analytics services aggregate that information. Browser settings can block cookies, though some features may then function differently.
What We Do With This Data
Technical and submitted information may be used for ordinary site operation, including:
- Operating and maintaining the resource
- Sending a submitted query to the designated partner service
- Assessing page use and performance
- Diagnosing technical problems
- Delivering interest-related advertising where applicable
No Court-Record Data on File
Lincoln County Court Docket does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case information. It publishes general directions for locating records from the proper clerk, court, or New Mexico search system. Court-record access is governed by Rule 1-079 NMRA and the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, not by this private resource. It is not a consumer reporting agency and does not assemble visitor data into consumer reports.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes are provided by outside companies. Information entered there is subject to the provider’s own privacy policy, retention practices, and sharing rules. Lincoln County Court Docket does not control those policies. Review the provider’s terms before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links can lead to court, clerk, statewide search, legal-aid, or third-party services. Once a visitor leaves this resource, the destination’s privacy terms apply. Advertising partners may also measure activity across services through their own systems.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information can be received by:
- Search providers handling a query submitted through their tool
- Analytics providers used to review traffic and performance
- Advertising networks serving ads on a page
- Government or law-enforcement bodies acting under a valid legal demand
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect collected information. Internet transmission and storage cannot be made completely risk free, so no promise can be made that a security incident will never occur.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If a minor’s information is believed to have been submitted, it may be requested for deletion.
Your Data Rights
New Mexico’s court-record access rules, including Rule 1-079 NMRA and the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, govern access requests for judicial public records held by the responsible court. They do not make this private resource a court-record custodian. At a minimum, visitors may:
- Ask for a copy of personal information retained about them
- Request correction of inaccurate retained information
- Request deletion of retained personal information
- Opt out of certain processing where available
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised. A revised version becomes effective when it is posted here, so visitors should review it periodically.
